Why We’re Raising Money
For The Big Give Challenge this year we are raising funds for three projects:
Our Advice Service
We are raising money to fund our Advice Service that provides free, confidential legal advice and practical support for refugees and asylum seekers in Berkshire. As families arrive in Berkshire from Afghanistan, we’re expecting the demand for this service to dramatically increase.
We are aiming to raise £5,333 to fund this service for at least 2.5 months.

Our Drop In Service
We are raising money to fund our Drop In Service that provides a safe space, social interaction, English lessons, access to a Caseworker and much more for refugees and asylum seekers in Berkshire. As families arrive in Berkshire from Afghanistan, we’re expecting the demand for this service to dramatically increase.
We are aiming to raise £5,333 to fund this service for at least three months.

Our Homework Club for schoolkids
We are raising money to fund our Homework Clubs. Our Homework Clubs help refugee schoolchildren with their homework so that they can catch-up on missed education and achieve more at school. We’ve recently restarted the clubs after COVID and need funding to continue running them.
We are aiming to raise £5,333 to fund this service for at least six months.
Your Donation Quadrupled
By pledging a gift as part of The Big Give Christmas Challenge, your pledged donation could be quadrupled by donations from the public and The Big Give’s Champion Funders.
- If you pledge £100, your donation could be worth £400.
This would fund four Homework Club sessions, providing help with schoolwork for roughly twenty refugee schoolchildren. - If you pledge £200, your donation could be worth £800.
This would fund a Caseworker for two weeks providing advice and support to roughly 50 families and individuals. - If you pledge £500, your donation could be worth £2,000.
This would fund our Drop In Centre for roughly six weeks, providing a safe space, education and practical help for hundreds of refugees and asylum seekers.
