The Drop In Centre
Our Drop In Centre is at the heart of what we do.
It offers a safe space to socialise, make friends, practise English, and volunteering.
A Safe Space
Our Drop In Centre offers a safe space for refugees and people seeking asylum to enjoy a cup of tea, socialise and make friends.
It helps refugees to build their support networks and integrate with the local community. It helps to combat loneliness and isolation, and improves mental health.
Learning English
Our team of brilliant volunteers help refugees practice and learn English at the Drop In through informal English conversation.
Refugees can practise and improve their English language skills, learn about UK culture, and get help with coursework. This builds their confidence, encourages integration and increases their employability.
