The 2.6 Challenge

The 2.6 Challenge

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear joggers. Is that you?

#TwoPointSixChallenge

The Covid-19 pandemic has cancelled thousands of fundraising events, meaning a catastrophic loss to income for charities helping people in need across the country.

We’re expecting to lose roughly £30,000 from cancelled events, money that we need to provide advice and support to Refugees in desperate need across Berkshire.

YOU CAN HELP

From Sunday 26th April, when the London Marathon would have taken place, we’re asking you join the rest of the UK for The 2.6  Challenge. The 2.6 Challenge can be any activity you can think of – from running 2.6 miles, dancing for 26 minutes, walking 26 laps of your garden, or doing a Joe Wicks workout with 26 of your friends.

Whatever your age or ability, you can take part and help Refugees across Berkshire. Not every hero wears a cape. Sometimes they wear joggers.

DO IT AT HOME

The #TwoPointSixChallenge is a lockdown friendly event and it’s your chance to help raise money from living room, bedroom, garden or park!

The 2.6 Challenge is set to be the biggest fundraising event in UK history, and could make a massive difference to small charities like us.

Get active, enjoy yourself, pledge what you can or fundraise yourself for Refugees living in Berkshire.

If you want to take part, choose your challenge and set up a fundraising page:
https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/charity-web/charity/displayEventDetails…

or sponsor someone else’s page

Share your page with friends and family, nominate others and on Sunday, take part in the 2.6 Challenge with everyone else up and down the country!

Make sure to take photos/videos and share them on social social media with #TwoPointSixChallenge
