We Are Crowdfunding

Our Drop In Centre is a safe space for every refugee and asylum seeker in Berkshire.

It is a place where they can socialise, make friends, learn English, and get help finding work and volunteering.

Refugees can see a Caseworker at the Drop In for free legal advice and practical support. We also reimburse travel costs, so our most destitute clients can always attend.

Last year more than 600 refugees and people seeking asylum visited the Drop In for a cup of tea, a friendly chat, practical support and legal advice.

THAT’S WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP TO BRING IT BACK

Refugees in Berkshire need the Drop In now, more than ever, so we’ve started a Crowdfunder to bring it back.

It costs around £20,000 a year to run the Drop In – that covers venue hire, reimbursing travel costs, refreshments and some staff costs.

We’re being ambitious and we’re trying to raise £40,000 – enough to run the Drop In for two whole years  and we’ve got just over four weeks to hit our target.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE IT HAPPEN

HELP SPREAD THE WORD

For our Crowdfunder to succeed, we need as many people as possible to see it.

Can you help us by sharing it with people who might want to donate or share it on themselves?

Show it to Family & Friends.

Share it on Social Media.

Email it to Business Contacts.

Taking five minutes to share it can help us reach more people and hit our target!
