Join us on Saturday 24 October at 6pm for From Gaza: A Personal Story of Survival, a powerful photographic exhibition by Gaza-born artist and photographer Ahmed Abu Aisha. Through striking images and personal commentary, Ahmed documents the seven months he lived through the war in Gaza, capturing experiences of violence, fear and loss alongside stories of resilience, humanity and survival.
Ahmed will narrate the exhibition and speak about the lived experiences and human stories behind the images, offering a deeply personal perspective beyond the headlines. The evening will also provide an opportunity to support Denizen’s Society Global, a grassroots charity co-founded by Ahmed that supports destitute Gazans in Cairo. Traditional Palestinian Tatreez embroidery and Palestinian food will also be available to purchase.
